CAN WE NOW TURN OUR GAZE INWARDS
the institutionalised and internalised form of corruption is inbuilt in the conduct & practice of professions in India. It is so impregnated and long standing that one has ceased to even recognise it as corruption...- Extract from an email from Sanjay Nagral
The Dispute Over Swami Vivekananda's Legacy: A Warning and an Opportunity
Author's Preface
.
This series began with a gathering at Bapu Kuti, Sewagram Ashram, in January 1993. Veteran Gandhians and young admirers of M.K.Gandhi had come to commemorate J.C.Kumarappa' s birth centenary and share notes on struggling for non-violent and sustainable socio-economic structures.
Over six or seven days, some of us were blessed with those rare flights of imagination and hope which occur by a seemingly magical conjunction of people, place and spirit. The base for these winged journeys was Gandhiji's home and the dreams it houses. Yet the flight path also took us dose to Swami Vivekananda's ideas about work in rural India.
Writings from CED Associates
All people associated with CED feel strongly about something -- in fact about a lot of things. Some write and are published. Others just write.
Here is a compilation of writings, formal or otherwise, published or not, on issues which concern CED. You are welcome to send your stuff. Its free.. as in free beer, as well as in freedom.
You are also invited to send your papers. If the documentation/research paper or publication is along the priority areas of CED, we will publish it on this website.
