INSAF National Convention
Raajen Singh and Vijay Pereira from CED participated in the Convention of INSAF National Political Convention in Bangalore on 26-27^th April 2010. The theme was “Capitalist Crisis and emerging Neo-liberal challenges: Tasks for Social Action".
CED prepared one of the background notes for the Convention titles “Single Largest Internal security threat or The largest land grab since columbus.”
CED also video documented the entire events. Parts of the same have been added to CED documentation, including the talks: The Climate Crisis by Praful Bidwai and The Green Agenda in the Red Idea by Lawrence Surendra.

Walter attended the Bengaluru Janara Vedike meeting on 28^th August 2010, where they discussed an action plan for taking on the priority issues-Livelihoods of the urban poor, Proposed Bangalore Region Governance Bill.

John attended the two day workshop from 1st to 2nd March of AIPSN ( All India Peoples science Network) on Climate Change.The meeting was sponsored by the Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation a two year old foundation, in Delhi.

John of CED took part in the two day workshop titled Combating Global Poverty in a market driven world held on the occassion of 25 years of Creative handicrafts on 7-8 February 2011.

Public hearing on Climate Change and Food Security in Semi-arid zones

CED also participated in the Public hearing on Climate Change and Food Security in Semi-arid zones: organised by Accion Fraterna and Timbaktu in October 2010.
