Workshop on Basics of Climate Change
CED led a three-hour workshop on Basics of Climate Change at the BMN College of Homes Science, attended by 135 women students of Home science and computer science on 10th December 2010.
The highlight of the programme was a presentation a study of students’ awareness on Climate change. The study by three students was initiated by CED, using the teachers help, before the workshop. Two of the three students also participated in YUVA drishti II, which helped them get an overall perspective.
The workshop included viewing of CED’s trigger film : City Calling, as well as some education material available on the Internet.
CED used the first version of the Educational Module, developed by it.
