A Secular Re-Think

Citizens for Peace (CFP) is a group committed to fostering peace and understanding between different communities. The Indian model of secularism has clearly left much of the country dissatisfied on various counts. CFP is of the view that it is time to review this area of public life in a fresh and non-reactive manner. Their objective is to introspect and arrive at a new and more relevant understanding about what it means to be a Secular country.
One key criteria for participation will be the participants willingness to present for discussion something specific and more importantly a fresh approach. To read more, click here.

Helping you network

CED has always been a hub for activists and NGOs. We would like to take our reciprocal relationship further by providing a space for you on our newsletter which will serve as an electronic bulletin board for activists and NGOs. If you need volunteers at a rally, want to announce a lecture you are holding or get some information across... get in touch with us and we'll have your request  reach a large number of socially concerned individuals. Email Tanvi for further details.
