LONG TERM TRAINING PROGRAMMES              

COMPETENCY BASED DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAMMES              

   ISHA offers one year duration competency based distance learning programmes for skills development. These programmes are individualized keeping in view the interests, aspirations, motivation, and past achievements. These programmes aim at developing conceptual and functional skills, analytical and problem solving abilities; supervisory, managerial, and leadership behaviours, interpersonal relations skills; motivational development. Besides clinical skills updating for medical and nursing personnel in clinical medicine, emergency medicine, critical care patients, accident and trauma patients. The ultimate objective is hospital productivity, profitability, cost reduction, effective management of resources towards patient satisfaction, quality assurance, and promotion of health. The programmes available are:       

             a)  Hospital Administration
             b)  Health Administration
             c)  Nursing Care Administration
             d)  Counselling Techniques
             e)  Legal Aspects of Health Care
             f)   Managerial Effectiveness
            g) Public Health Management
            h) Disaster Preparedness and Emergencies Management


                    

FULL TIME TRAINING PROGRAMMES

   ISHA will start from 2006, full-time training programmes of three months to two years, day scholars and evening programmes for working administrators in the following areas:

             a)   Hospital Administration
             b)   Health Administration including Public Health
             c)   Counselling Techniques
             d)   Managerial Effectiveness.
