With the trends in time, INSA/ India adapts training approaches to meet the vision of health and development for emerging nations. We are glad to share with you the changes made and look forward to collaborating more actively. Please let other NGOs also know of the programmes. As a trainer organisation, INSA / India is committed to enabling professionals to establish creditable community based health and development programmes. We are happy to let you know that we will be able to offer subsized Training of Trainer Programmes for various levels of staff in English, Hindi and other regional languages, based upon need.

The upcoming programmes are listed below. We urge you to register since admission is on a first come first serve basis and based upon priority areas.

1. WORKSHOP for Managers : : {Seats limited to 10 }

3 day workshops on PROJECT PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION

-5th to the 7th of December, 2001} Venue : Bangalore and
-4th to 6th February, 2002 Venue: Dehra Dun, Uttaranchal

2. FOR MID-LEVEL MANAGERS : : {Seats limited to 15}

6 weeks COMMUNITY HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINERS' PROGRAMME from the 15th of January to the 21st of February, 2002

5 day residential workshop on Planning Community based Health and development for Uttaranchal state {Feb 2002} at Dehra Dun.

6 weeks COMMUNITY HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINERS' PROGRAMME from the 16th of July to 23rd August, 2002 {in Hindi}

This course enables your staff to improve or set up health and development need-based programmes, study its entire links and get practical experience at a subsidized cost. These courses are offered in English & Hindi.

The Registration fees for this Course is Rs.3000/- per participant of which Rs.1000/- is returned a year later on attending a follow up workshop. All expenses for the training, stay, field experience and follow-up services will be borne by INSA for selected candidates. Registrations are open for the next course, which is in Hindi from the 16th of July to 23rd of August'02.

3. FOR ANY STAFF : {Seats limited to 10}

3 day residential workshop on FUND-RAISING FOR COMMUNITY BASED BLINDNESS CONTROL {at a regional level} dates flexible - end October - beginning November, 2001 for second-line staff
Similar Programme in any other place in India on request in February-March, 2002.

The INSA/India programmes have enabled the development of sustainable community health and development programmes all over the country and neighbouring countries. Follow-up services are offered to all who attend the 6 week's Trainers Programmes, free of cost. We invite you to avail this opportunity to join the INSA/India network of trainers.

Application forms are available for each Courses as follows:

For Managers: Rs. 150/-
For Mid-level Managers: Rs.100/-
For Any staff : Rs. 50/-

Payable by DD/MO addressed to the Programme Director, INSA-India {specify the Course}

Payment of registration fees alongwith the completed application forms helps us to block the seats for your staff to attend the training. We look forward to strengthening our collaboration.
