The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a registered voluntary
organisation which has established several activities for the over all
growth and development of persons with disability for the past forty- four
years, Our spectrum of work can be viewed at our website, http://www.apd-india.org
APD believes in providing high quality skills training for persons with
disability and for persons who are economically marginalized with the hope
that with this training they should be able to secure jobs and lead an
independent-meaningful life. APD is providing computer training for
the past six years and it has trained over hundreds of youths enabling
them become earning members in the mainstream society.
APD has qualified staff and all the latest infrastructure facilities
to provide high quality training in computers. Along with the computer
training, communication, leadership and over all personality development
inputs are also given as a package to prepare the trainees to compete
with the open market like any others.
APD is presently starting training in a One-Year Diploma Course in Advance diploma in computer Application and Desktop Publishing. The entry qualification for the course is the candidates should have passed SSLC and should have the knowledge of English. The course is designed in the wide range of area and enable students get jobs as Computer Operators/ Graphic Designers / Web designers /Jobs in e-publishing companies and so on.
The admissions are open from 1st May-25th May 2004 for all youths between the age of 17-26 years with preference give to person with disability and those who are economically disadvantaged. We kindly request you to help us in identifying the deserving and suitable candidates for the training program.
