Projects Completed
Rural - Rain Water Harvesting
Ø Raigad, Thane and Ratnagiri Districts of Maharashtra – Working with three NGOs as
their technical consultant in watershed work.

Over 50 Villages from 5 talukas – These villages experienced seasonal drought. The villagers were brought together. Locally appropriate - innovative, environment
friendly solutions were suggested. The villagers accepted the suggestions. They implemented the project through “Shramdan”. The NGOs Concerned supported with the
material and skilled labour. As a result their villages are becoming tanker proof.

The project commenced four years back. By now Twenty villages have become self sufficient about water. The remaining are in the process.

With this becoming so effective, 20 more villages are eager to participate in similar projects to alleviate themselves from this shortage of water.

Ø Shilim Project an ambitious Enviro Health Spa on 1600 acres near Lonavla is implementing water harvesting, ground water recharge and wastewater recycling
project under our consultancy

Ø Navsari and Valasad Districts of Gujarat – one village each –(currently under way) These are experiencing water scarcity. Have sought for Rain water harvesting
suggestions and are ready to implement the project.

Ø A large farm in Una District of Gujarat – implemented our suggestions and is now growing Papaya, Groundnut and Amla.

Water Recycling :
Ø As a natural extension of water conservation, a project of recycling water was implemented in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University – Lonere, for
treating 20,000 lit of sewage per day. The treated water is used for gardening.
