SCHOLARSHIP WATCH


OUTREACH SCHOLARSHIP -Spend 3 months at the CED Bangalore centre studying & documenting the works of various NGOs & Peoples Movements.


The Scholarship provides an total honorarium of Rs. 18,000/-. Plus support for simple boarding and lodging while on tour to the NGOs and surface travel expenses on actuals.

BEST ASSIGNMENT SCHOLARSHIP-Submit final assignments & avail


Who can Apply:Undergraduate students who have used CED’s research facilities for their various assignments and projects, during the academic year 2004-5.

Terms: Ten assignments will be selected based on their quality in terms of social relevance and analysis.

The last date for the submission of assignments is 28th February 2005

CED HOSTS PAKISTANI YOUTH DELEGATION FOR DINNER

Indo-Pak Youth Forum For Peace (IPYFP)an informal group of concerned youth and youth organizations of India and Pakistan striving together for normalization of relations between India and Pakistan. helped bring together a delegation of 12 individuals from Pakistan for a visit to India.


While in Mumbai CED invited the delegates to our Colaba office where we introduced CED and the work done by our organisation .As Pakistan does not have very many documentation centres, the delegates we curious and eager to know how they could access our facility, we therefore have given them free access to the information we have online. Thereafter we took them for dinner to a restaurant nearby.
