To encourage better and more analytical work, CED has instituted ten scholarships for the ten best assignments done by undergraduate students as part of their course in the year 2006-2007. Reference work should be done in CED and reference at CED on these issues is free.

City farming is an innovative technology which deals with farming in urban areas and essentially on terraces, balconies and even on the walls of civil constructions. Dr.R T Doshi has perfected a method of growing fruits and vegetables for domestic consumption, which involves relatively low labour input, organic production methods and very high yields.
