A film explaining the Coastal Regulation Zone, and the economics
and politics of
its implementation from the point of view of the Local
Communities. This
film is aimed to educate local communities. It is a part of the series
of AV
materials on issues related to Tsunami. The film is accompanied by a
backgrounder in Tamil that provides more references to other
information on CRZ. The main aim is to promote the right to
information, and
people's right to know, determine and participate in their own
development
particularly their re-development/rehabilitation.
